KASUR: The district administration has banned seven religious leaders from delivering speeches for three months.
It was decided by DCO Adnan Arshad while chairing a meeting held to review Muharram security arrangements at the DCO office on Tuesday. The banned religious leaders are Allama Zafar Hussain of Kot Radha Kishan, Ghulam Haider of Khudian, Allama Ziafat Hussain Shah of Matta village, Kasur, Syed Sharafat Hussain, Intizarul Hassan Moavia, Manzoor Ahmed Shakir of Pattoki and Ali Raza of Chunian. Kasur DPO Ali Nasir Rizvi while speaking on the occasion said that foolproof security arrangements would be made to maintain law and order in the district in Muharram. He said that CCTV cameras and other gadgets would be used to keep an eye on the suspected persons.
