KARACHI: Defending champions Army and Navy qualified for the final of the 13th National Asian Style Kabaddi Championship 2015 as they won their respective semi-finals here at Hamidi Hall, Pakistan Sports Complex, on Tuesday.
The final will be played on Wednesday (today) at the same venue.
In the first semi-final, Army thrashed WAPDA 37-22.
Experienced Wassem Sajjad and Nasir Ali played impressively for Army.
In the second semi-final, Navy faced tough resistance from PAF. It was a well-contested match, as both teams started the game in an aggressive style.
They were level at 8-8 in the first half of the fixture. But Navy eventually prevailed and finished the match at 41-20. Usman Khan, Haider Ali and Kashif Raza played well for Navy.
