SUKKUR: Former president General (Retd.) Pervez Musharraf, while addressing party workers via telephone in Pano Aqil, said that Pir Pagara and Chaudhry Shujaat were in touch with him to merge all the factions of the PML into a single entity. He said that the APML would fill the political vacuum in the country. He said that the people were fed up with PPP’s bad governance in Sindh, and there was a need for an alternative party in Sindh that could challenge the PPP. Musharraf pledged that he would reorganize his party (the APML) in Sindh and urged the party workers to take part in the local bodies’ elections. He said that the PTI had no plan for the future of the country. Musharraf also urged the party workers to support the steps taken by the Chief of the Army Staff for the integrity and sovereignty of the country.
