HANGU: The police arrested 46 suspected persons, including 11 Afghan nationals, and recovered huge cache of arms and ammunition from them during a search operation in the district, an official said on Friday.
District Police Officer (DPO), Shah Nazar told reporters that the police launched a search operation against anti-social elements in the district and made the arrests.
He said the police recovered eight Kalashnikovs, five rifles, 22 guns, 33 pistols, three hand grenades, a thousand cartridges and 18 kilogram of hashish from them.
