MANSEHRA: Three persons were killed and three others sustained injuries in different incidents here on Thursday.
Police said a labourer Muhammad Khursheed was killed by unknown assailants in Khaki area and his body was found dumped in a thick forest. The locals, who spotted the body in Tarha Pain area, informed the police who shifted it to the King Abdullah Teaching Hospital.
The doctors handed over the body to bereaved family on completion of medical-legal formalities there. The officials of the Khaki Police Station after lodging first information
report started an investigation to trace the blind murder.
In another incident, a car plunged into a ravine in Chaterplain area where one Muhammad Haleem, stated to be driver of vehicle, died instantly while three other people sustained injuries.
The local rushed to scene and shifted the injured to nearby hospital where doctors referred all the three to Ayub Medical Complex Hospital in Abbottabad. In yet another incident, one Amir Gul of Bisian area of Balakot drowned in Kunhar River near Garhi Habibullah.
