GUJRANWALA: Sadr Assistant Commissioner Arifullah Awan sealed three dyeing and printing units on Thursday.
The AC sealed Ahmed Dyeing and printing Ferozwala, Nawab Dyeing and printing GT Road, and Qamar Dyeing and printing Khiali over running boilers in residential areas without permission.
The AC warned the owners to shift the units outside the residential areas forthwith and get permission from relevant authorities.
LOCALS ROBBED OF VALUABLES: Dacoits and thieves Thursday deprived citizens of cash, gold ornaments, cellphones, vehicles and other valuables in 16 hits.
In Model Town police limits two dacoits intercepted Haseeb and snatched Rs 22,000 and a gold ring from him.
In Wazirabad, Asghar was deprived of Rs 14,000 and a cellphone by dacoits.
In Kamoke area, four gunmen barged into the house of Mansha and took away Rs 47,000, gold ornaments, four cellphones and other valuables.
Near Emanabad toll station, robbers snatched Rs 12,000 and three cellphones.
In Qila Didar Singh the motorcycle (STE-1414) of Iqbal was stolen, new motorcycles of Azeem, Riasat, Luqman, Qadir, Aslam, and Rizwan were stolen from different places.
Thieves took away Rs 15,000 and gold ornaments from the house of Musawar in Dhulley locality. Thieves stole car of Ashiq outside Chatha hospital.
