CHAKWAL: Syed Anees Haider Shah, northern affairs Adviser to PTI chairman Imran Khan, Thursday said administering justice to the common man is the agenda of the party.
Talking to reporters at the residence of Chaudhry Mumtaz Khan, Anees said the PTI is the future of Pakistan.
PTI district organizer Raja Yasir Sarfraz, Pir Nisar Qasim and others were also present on the occasion.
Anees said the PTI is the first political party in the country that admitted that corrupt people had entered into the rank of the party.
He said the present local bodies elections are against the spirit of democracy, saying that the elected councilors in Punjab would answerable to DCOs and Commissioners and even district council would not be in the position to approve development schemes itself.
Later, Anees also attended PTI convention at Kot Sarfaraz.
District organizer Raja Yasir Sarfraz said the PTI have fielded its candidates in 45 union councils out of 71 throughout the district.
While 100 per cent candidates were fielded in all six municipal committees in the district. Ali Nasir Bhatti, Pir Nisar Qasim and Raja Muhammad Ummar also spoke.
