APC for steps to stop spread of coronavirus in Upper Chitral
CHITRAL: The All Parties Conference (APC), Upper Chitral district chapter, on Thursday expressed dissatisfaction over the safety measures being implemented by the district administration against the coronavirus pandemic in the area.
The APC that held in the presidentship of Member Provincial Assembly Maulana Hidayatur Rehman feared that coronavirus epidemic in Upper Chitral district was imminent if the district administration did not take serious steps for containing the spread of viral infection from the down district.
Besides others, leaders of political parties and civil society organizations, including Maulana Fathul Bari of Jamait Ulema-e-Islam, Maulana Javed Hussain of Jamaat-e-Islami, Hamid Jalal and Pervaiz Lal of the Pakistan People Party, Prince Sultan-ul-Mulk of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz, Rahmat Salam Lal of Tehreek-e-Haqooq Upper Chitral, Maulana Muhammad Yousaf and Zakir Zakhmi of traders’ union attended the meeting.
