Woman among two murdered in Mianwali
MIANWALI: Two people, including a woman, were gunned down in separate incidents of firing in Kala Bagh and Mianwali police limits on Tuesday.
According to police sources, Purtapal Khan, 44, of Subali, was an employee of a local landlord. On the day of the incident, when Purtapal Khan refused to pay back the advanced amount, landlord Raees Yousaf Zai shot him dead. In another incident, Amjad Khan of village Mulharri, tehsil Mianwali allegedly shot dead his wife Zunaira Bibi over domestic issues.
THREE die in road accidents: Three people died while another got serious injuries in separate road accidents in Wan Bhachran and Mianwali police limits on Tuesday.
According to police sources, Imdad Hussain, 32, of Wan Bhachran along with his relative Matloob Hussain, 19, were travelling on a motorcycle when a truck coming from the opposite side hit them near Noshki Morr, leaving Matloob and Imdad dead on the spot while another Qalab Khan got serious injuries.
In another accident, a speeding vehicle hit to death pedestrian Toofan Khan, 67, near Peshawar Morr.
