Five more test positive for coronavirus in Daska
DASKA: Five more people tested positive for coronavirus during the last 24 hour in city area on Saturday. According to DDHO Dr Siddique, 26 people have so far tested positive for the virus in tehsil Daska and seven have been sent to their homes. Reportedly, some 1,547 people are quarantined in the Tehsil.
20 HELD FOR PILLION RIDING: Bombanwala police arrested twenty people on charges of violating pillion riding regulations on Saturday.
Police arrested Qasim, Haider, Khurram, Shahzad, Awais, Qadir, Imran and others from different areas and booked them.
STUDENT ROBBED: Two bandits snatched cash, a cell phone and a laptop from a student in the area of city police on Saturday. Hamaza was intercepted by the bandits near a college and was deprived of Rs 2,000, a cell phone and a laptop.
THREE BOOTLEGGERS HELD: Bombanwala police Saturday arrested three bootleggers and recovered a large quantity of liquor from their possession. Police raided village Othian and arrested Liaquat Masih, Chand Masih and Arslan Masih and recovered 750 litres liquor from them.
