SHC rejects Khurshid Shah’s bail petition

SUKKUR: Sindh High Court (SHC) on Wednesday rejected a bail petition of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) leader Syed Khurshid Shah in a case pertaining to assets beyond known sources of income.
The Sukkur bench of the SHC also rejected the bail plea of Farrukh Ahmed Shah, the former opposition leader’s son. Other accused in the reference, including Khurshid Shah’s two wives, and 12 others were granted bail.
Shah was arrested in September last year during a raid conducted by the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) and police at his Islamabad residence.
