OKARA: Two people committed suicide in separate incidents here.
In the first incident, Mushtaq Ahmad, a resident of Depalpur and a father of six children, ended his life by hanging himself with a ceiling fan. His children had demanded Eidi from him but he could not pay them due to poverty. In the second incident, 17-year-old Maqbool Ahmad, son of Noor Ahmad and a resident of Sheikhu Sharif village, ended his life by hanging himself with a ceiling fan. The motive behind the incident is said to be a domestic dispute.
