HAFIZABAD: A man was allegedly abducted by his friend here.
Waqar Abbas of Madina Colony reported to City police that there was a monetary dispute between his uncle Abbas Shah and his friend Ahsanullah. He said that Ahsanullah allegedly abducted Abbas when he went to Mangat Nicha to meet him to settle the dispute. Police have registered a case against the accused after arresting him but the abductee could not be recovered till the filing of the report.
FOUR DRUG PUSHERS HELD: Pindi Bhattian police have arrested four people and recovered 290 liquor bottles from them.
Police, on a tip-off, intercepted a van and recovered liquor bottles from it. Police also arrested the four accused, including Akhtar Ali. A case has been registered.
MAN HELD FOR ILLEGAL HIDE COLLECTION: City police arrested a man on the charge of collecting hides illegally.
Police raided a camp of Falah-e-Insaniat organisation at Mohallah Misri Khan and arrested Safdar, who was collecting hides illegally. Police seized hides from there.
