Cash support among poor: Sukkur police raid PTI woman leader house for distributing fake forms
KARACHI: Police raided house of woman leader of Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) who was involved in distributing fake forms of Ehsas Programme among needy families by charging money in Sukkur on Tuesday. PTI Sukkur's local woman leader Shahela Leghari has been caught red handed while cheating with the help of her husband Ali Dino Leghari. According to C-Section Police Station in Sukkur, the female leader used a fake form of Ehsas programme in her home and used to charge Rs100 to Rs300 per form from deserving women. After receiving complaint the police raided her house located near Noman Park, recovered fake forms and other material used in aforementioned fraud and arrested her husband Ali Dino Leghari, while Shahela Leghari escaped from the scene from the back door. Earlier, there were eight incidents reported in which Rs500 were deducted out of Rs12,000 of cash support under Ehsaas programme, all cases have been registered against the accused. At least 50 persons including women have been arrested from the different parts of province, allegedly involved in committing fraud in Ehsas programme.
