Man dies from corona in Mardan; tally hits six
MARDAN: After the death of 65-year old man from Manga union council where the first death from the coronavirus had taken place in the country, the number of deaths had reached six in the district, sources said. The sources added that Sardar Khan, 65, a retired employee of the Health Department, was the second residence of Manga, who had died from the coronavirus on Tuesday. Six people have died due to coronavirus complications in the district so far. The two people belonged to Manga, two people belonged to Baghdada, one woman from Guli Bagh and a man from Sheikh Maltoon Town. One Saadat Khan belonging to Manga union council in Mardan was the first person, who died from the coronavirus in the country on 19 March. The deceased had returned from Saudi Arabia after performing Umrah and hundreds of people had come to greet him on his homecoming. Later, after his death the local administration had sealed the union council. However, the district administration de-sealed 29 of the 49 villages of union council on 6 April.
