Residents worried about poor sanitation conditions in DI Khan
DERA ISMAIL KHAN: The residents here on Tuesday asked the authorities concerned to take notice of the worsening sanitation conditions in Dera city and its surroundings. They said that heap of garbage and overflowing containers posed a serious threat to the health of the local residents. This scribe also witnessed that some localities in the city had poor sanitation conditions, which warranted the attention of the relevant officials. The heaps of garbage and filth across the city and its surroundings are posing threats to the life of the people. The dilapidated streets and damaged drainage system further added to the worries of the residents. Khan Momin, a resident of Mohallah Khidmatgaranwala, deplored that the rainwater flooded the localities as most of the drains were choked with filth and garbage.
