CJP, family, secretary test negative for virus

ISLAMABAD: Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Gulzar Ahmed, his family and secretary have tested negative for coronavirus after a Supreme Court employee was quarantined after developing Covid-19 symptoms.
The Supreme Court’s public relations officer said on Tuesday that the employee in question is a Naib Qasid of the apex court.
Initially, his Covid-19 test was conducted but the result of the first test was doubtful. A second test was then conducted which was diagnosed as positive.
He is in isolation at the Polyclinic Hospital, the spokesperson added.
Consequent upon that, Covid-19 tests of Justice Ahmed, his family members and secretary to the CJP were conducted, which all were negative, he maintained.
