Mock exercise at Multan Airport

MULTAN: The Pak Army, the Pakistan Air Force and the Airport Security Force personnel on Tuesday conducted a mock exercise to demonstrate skills and preparedness to meet any emergency situation at the Multan Airport.
Multan Corps Commander Lt-Gen Ashfaq Nadeem Ahmed witnessed the mock exercise, which was conducted after getting intelligence reports that militants were plotting to attack on the airport. The officials demonstrated their skills under a comprehensive standard operating procedure (SOP). The corps commander appreciated the performance of the officials and said that our soldiers were ready to launch counter-terrorism operations against the terrorists anywhere. The corps commander said that the exercise was carried out to enhance operational preparedness of the officials to tackle the situation in case of any emergency.
