PTI city office attacked

CHAKWAL: The PTI city office was attacked and a motorcyclist fired six pistol shots at the office and fled on Tuesday.
PTI office in-charge Sheikh Khuram Shehzad told the city police that a meeting was underway in the office regarding party tickets distribution for the LB polls when a motorcyclist arrived and fired at the office with his pistol.
DSP Sadr circle, SHO city police station and other officials rushed to the site. PTI parliamentary board member Sheikh Waqar Ali in a press conference said the firing incident was political-oriented as the party fielded its candidates in all municipals committees’ wards.
He demanded an immediate arrest of the attacker and fool proof security for him. He warned of exposing the elements behind the attack if the culprit was not arrested.
