Corona positive cases in Haripur rise to 8
HARIPUR: With two new positive cases, the number of coronavirus carriers increased to eight in Haripur, official sources said on Wednesday.
District Health Officer Dr Saifullah Khalid said that two new cases were reported from Khalabat Township and Kamilpur village.
The number of total corona positive had increased to eight in the district, he said, adding, the five positive cases were reported in Khalabat Township, and one from union council Sera e Nehmat Khan and one each from union council Rehana and Ali Khan Union Council.
He said that all the patients were in stable condition and were isolated from rest of their families. The DHO said that the Rapid Response Team has collected the samples of 98 suspects till Wednesday; however, 62 have tested negative. To a question, the DHO said that the situation of spreading of coronavirus was comparatively under control.
