Pervaiz Elahi for joint efforts to check coronavirus
LAHORE:Speaker Punjab Assembly Ch Pervaiz Elahi on Wednesday said that the political parties should play their role in fighting against corona pandemic instead of indulging in number game and allegations levelling, first priority of the government should be meeting financial requirements of people. He convened the meeting of All Parties Parliamentary Committee on coronavirus on April 10 which will be on video link.
The meeting will be participated by the nominated representatives of PTI, PML-N, PPP and independent parties. The 11-member committee will examine the measures for minimising the impacts of corona and deliberate on the measures taken by the government for preventing spread of coronavirus and its impacts on economy. The speaker will preside over the meeting.
