2 commit suicide in Haripur
HARIPUR: Two persons, including a teenage boy, committed suicide in the limits of Sera-e -Saleh Police Station here on Tuesday.
The officials of the Sera-e-Saleh Police Station said that the first incident was reported in Basti Sher Khan village on GT Road, where Muhammad Arshad, 42, consumed anti- rodents. He was shifted to the Trauma Centre where he could not survive despite efforts to save him, police and hospital sources said. The deceased, according to family sources, had been psychologically sick for the last few months, which led to his self-killing. The second suicide was reported in Muhalla Maira village. Police said that Zahid went to his bedroom on Monday night after dinner but failed to join his family for breakfast. When family members went to awake him, they found the door locked from inside. The family members found him hanging from ceiling fan. The reasons behind the suicide, according to family, was not known.
