Chaudhry Shujaat asks world to increase health spending
LAHORE:Pakistan Muslim League-Q President and former Prime Minister Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain has said the Coronavirus has changed the standard of superpower and proved that superpower and super planner is only the Almighty Allah, after being helpless before Covid-19 those spending trillions of dollars on nuclear arms and increasing their armies and defence capabilities should understand that these amounts should be spent on saving the people from diseases.
In a statement issued here Monday, he said all world leaders should sit together and ponder over that all resources being spent on becoming superpower to establish their command over the world should be utilised on human health, welfare and well-being.
Shujaat Hussain said that the lesson learnt from Corona, all including those considering themselves superpower should accept from their heart and practically that the superpower and super planner is only and only Almighty Allah and none else because it has been proved that atom bomb, missile or any other deadliest weapon cannot end the Corona nor help in controlling it.
Big powers trying day and night to suppress each other on the arms strength particularly all of us should join hands together to fight this pandemic and have to develop public health facilities so as to defeat any Covid-19 like international disease.
If funds are not utilised whole-heartedly on war against this disease then this disease will not end even in next five years and leaders making plans to eliminate each other from this world on basis of their military strength themselves can become the victims and their weaponry will also be of no help to them.
