BAHAWALPUR: A youth was electrocuted at Noorpura, Chishtian on Monday evening.
Ijaz Ahmad, 21, was working with an electrician in his house when he suffered a fatal electric shock and died instantly.
EID GIFTS FOR POOR: EDO (Community development) Aftab Pirzada Monday distributed Eid gifts among 36 deserving women under Rural -Urban Community Development project, Social Welfare department and Bait ul Maal.
The gifts consisted of sugar, ghee, rice, tea, and milk powder.
The gifts were also distributed among the Government Dar ul Atfal Boys school Islami Colony Bahawalpur consisted clothes, shoes, socks along with Rs 300 cash for every children.
FREE CATTLE MARKET: The free cattle market under Cattle Market Management Company is starting in Bahawalpur from September 22 near Chandi Pir shrine on the bypass.
This free cattle market will be regularly operate every week on Tuesday and Wednesday round the year and provide all facilities to cattle traders free of cost. The DCO Bahawalpur under section 144 has imposed ban on all other cattle markets except this Cattle Market Management Company.
