PESHAWAR: The Tennis Association Khyber Pakhtunkhwa President, Dr Mohammad Tahir, said on Monday that he would plead Pakistan’s case in a meeting of the World Tennis Association to hold an international tennis tournament in the country.
Talking to reporters before leaving for Chile to participate in the election for the World Tennis Association, he said the Pakistani youth were talented and needed an opportunity to exhibit their talent.
He said the Tennis Association was striving for the promotion of tennis in the country. He said he would attend the annual meeting of the World Tennis Association and try to persuade the body to organise an international event in Pakistan.
