ISLAMABAD: The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has become the second brotherly country that has provided massive assistance to Pakistan in the backdrop of outbreak of coronavirus.
The UAE mission here in Islamabad has announced that the first batch of medical support from the UAE to assist Pakistan to counter the coronavirus has arrived Islamabad international airport on a special plane while more medical shipments are scheduled to arrive from the UAE to help the government and people of Pakistan in confronting with the global pandemic.
The exceptional support has come under the direction of Sheikh Muhammad bin Zayed Al-Nahyan Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi who is also Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces and leader of humanitarian action in an exceptional time.
The UAE ambassador for Pakistan Hamad Obaid Ibrahim Salem Al-Zaabi has said that the UAE is watching the pandemic in Pakistan and would provide further assistance to overcome the adverse impact of the pandemic. The mission has reminded that the UAE always sets the example of high and distinct in its international relations and humanitarian field.
