DERA ISMAIL KHAN: An outlaw allegedly shot dead his father to avoid his arrest in Gara Hayat village in the limits of Saddar Police Station on Sunday, official source said. The sources said that Gul Behram, who was a criminal, along with his accomplices allegedly shot his father, Gulzar, dead at home. It was learnt that the police kept raiding the house for his arrest and the outlaw was afraid that his father might get him arrested. “To avoid his possible arrest through his father, he shot him dead,” an official said. The police started an investigation after registering the case against the accused.
