KARACHI: Ibrahim Iltifat thrashed Aqeel Shabbir in straight sets in quarterfinals of men’s singles event in 38th KTA Development Series ranking tennis championship 2015 at Union Club here on Sunday.
Ibrahim faced some resistance in the first set from Aqeel but he easily took the second set to record a convincing 7-5, 6-3 victory.
In U13 singles semi-finals, Saim Danish defeated Ghufran Faiz 6-2, 6-1, while Mohammad Yahya got a walkover against Zain Mohammad Ali.
