LHC assistant registrar retires today

RAWALPINDI: Assistant Registrar Lahore High Court (LHC) Rawalpindi Bench Basharat Mehmood Khawaja is set to retire today (Tuesday) after serving for 40 years in judiciary.
The LHC in its order issued on Monday said that the competent authority has been pleased to allow Basharat Mehmood Khawaja, Assistant Registrar to proceed on retirement from service on attaining the age of 60-years.
Basharat Mehmood Khawaja served for 40 years in different departments in judiciary. His daughter Hina Noman and two sons Farasat Ali Khawaja and Wajahat Ali Khawaja are also practicing lawyers. Basharat Ali Khawaja told ‘The News’ that in time justice is the prime duty of judges. Public is strongly rely on judiciary in the country, he said.
