Rawalpindi being cleansed with chlorine water
Rawalpindi : Rawalpindi Waste Management Company (RWMC) is busy in keeping Rawalpindi clean and washing roads, streets, markets and other public places from chlorine water to prevent the citizens from fatal coronavirus (COVID-19). The surroundings of the and quarantine centers are also washed with disinfectant water on daily basis, says a press release.
The workers of the company are working in double shifts to keep the environment sanitised and mechanical washing and sweeping are ensured on priority basis. Marking for social distancing is also done outside the stores and shops so that people while in a queue make a safe distance from each other as a precautionary measure from COVID-19. Operational staff and management is also risking their life on field and monitoring the cleanliness operation.
Previous day, special cleanliness operation was done at quarantine centers made at Gordon College, Fatima Jinnah University for Women, Waqar ul Nisa College, Rawalpindi Institute of Urology, UIT Taxila, Gujar Khan, Kallar Syedan and Murree. These centers were sanitised by disinfectant water (Chlorine water) and was monitored by operations management and staff.
RWMC MD Awais Manzoor Tarrar is also monitoring the operational activities which are held in the city to prevent the city from COVID-19.
Rawalpindi Waste Management Company is completely on its toes, washing streets, roads and public places from Chlorine water and sanitizing the city.
