FAISALABAD: An unidentified dacoit was killed in an encounter with police near Noorpur on Thursday. Three dacoits snatched a motorcycle and cash from Mujahid and fled. Incidentally, Inspector Muhammad Zafar along with some policemen was passing through the incident place. On seeing police, the dacoits opened fire on them. Police also retaliated. As a result, an unidentified dacoit was killed on the spot while his two accomplices fled.
