Don’t spread panic over virus: Chaudhry Shujaat
LAHORE:Pakistan Muslim League (PML-Q) president and former prime minister Ch Shujaat Hussain has said people should be afraid of Almighty Allah and avoid creating harassment and fear in society in the wake of coronavirus pandemic.
He said those hoarding protective goods and selling these on higher costs are earning ‘Haram’ for their worldly benefit. Ch Shujaat Hussain in his statement issued here on Thursday said philanthropists should help the poor and take care of their neighbours. He said: “In Ayat Number 30 of Surah Aale-Imran Almighty Allah says "And Allah makes you fearful of His wrath and is very Merciful on his creatures", in this Ayat, Allah on one hand makes His creatures fearful and also gives belief of being merciful on His creatures, as such I appeal to my nation to have full faith in Allah in fighting this contagious disease.”
preventive measures: Senior Vice-President Muslim League-Q Punjab Ch Salim Baryaar called on Speaker Punjab Assembly Ch Pervaiz Elahi at his residence here on Thursday.
On this occasion views were exchanged about political situation particularly regarding preventive measures for safety from corona. Ch Pervaiz Elahi said that the Ulema should arrange for special prayers, there is a need to fight corona and not be afraid of it, contagious diseases can only be fought by adopting preventive measures.
