Three of a family shot dead in Charsadda
CHARSADDA: Three members of a family were killed while a passerby girl sustained injuries when rival groups traded fire in the Tarangzai area in the limits of Umarzai Police Station on Wednesday, official sources said. They said that there was a water dispute between two groups in the Sholgra area.

CHARSADDA: Three members of a family were killed while a passerby girl sustained injuries when rival groups traded fire in the Tarangzai area in the limits of Umarzai Police Station on Wednesday, official sources said.
They said that there was a water dispute between two groups in the Sholgra area. The sources added that Bakht Sher, Haji Muhammad, Gul Muhammad and Hussain Ali fired at Sabz Ali and his two sons Yousaf Ali and Niaz Ali after an exchange of harsh words.
As a result, Sabz Ali, Yousaf Ali and Niaz Ali were killed on the spot while a passerby 10-year old girl sustained injuries. The accused managed to flee.
The bodies and the injured were shifted to the District Headquarters Hospital in Charsadda from whereLaiba was taken to the Lady Reading Hospital in Peshawar due to her precarious condition.
The bodies were handed over to the family members for burial. The police registered the case and started an investigation.
