FAISALABAD: The Pakistan Textile Exporters Association has criticised the injudicious decision of gas suspension to industries in the winter.
In a statement here on Tuesday, PTEA vice-chairman Rizwan Riaz said that the government should stop unilateral policies and decisions and take stakeholders into confidence before formulating any policy. He said that the government on one hand was contemplating to increase targets for industrial growth while on the other its harsh decisions were a hurdle in achieving the export targets. He termed energy shortage as the prime cause of economic instability and decline in industrial growth.
