OKARA: Two outlaws were killed in an encounter with police here on Monday. Police received information that two dacoits had snatched a motorcycle from a man near Mandi Ahmadabad and headed towards Attari. Following the information, police rushed to the spot and started chasing the dacoits. On seeing police, the dacoits opened fire on them. Police also retaliated. As a result, the dacoits were killed on the spot. The killed dacoits were later identified as Abdul Latif alias Phabbi of Hujra Shah Moqeem and Himmat Ali of Mandi Ahmadabad. Abdul Latif was wanted by police in 35 cases of murder, dacoity and rape while Himmat Ali was wanted by police in 13 heinous cases.
