Swabi District Council meets today

SWABI: The Swabi City District Council is holding its maiden session at Shahmansoor today.
This would be the third district council that would run the district.
The first district nazim was late Sher Zaman Sher. He was removed for having fake matriculation certificate. Jehanzeb Khan of Awami National Party had replaced him. Shahram Khan Tarakai, who is now provincial Health Minister, was the second district nazim of Swabi. Ameer Rehman of the ANP has been elected district nazim recently.
