Police claim arresting 7 robbers

DASKA: The Satra police Wednesday claimed arresting seven robbers and recovering cars, looted amount, mobile phones and illegal arms from them.
The SHO Satra arrested seven dacoits identified as Amanullah, Khan, Sanaullah, Sohail, Anwar, Aslam and Inyatullah and recovered three cars, Rs 400,000, four cellphones, four 30-bore pistols and a rifle.
The police also arrested three dacoits.
On a tip-off, police raided a locality and arrested Aqeel, Rashid and Abdul Jabber who were planning to rob the locals of valuables.
POWER THEFT CASE: Police booked a man on the report of the Wapda SDO.
Zulfiqar was arrested when he was stealing electricity from the main power line.
VALUABLES SNATCHED: Thieves took away valuables in three strikes on Wednesday.
Thieves entered the house of Abid when he was not present at the house. The thieves stole thousands of rupees, gold ornaments and a mobile phone.
Shahzaib and Nazir parked their motorbikes outside the bazaar, when they came back, they found motorbikes missing.
MAN INJURED: A man was injured on Wednesday in the area of city.
Zahid of Peero Chak was going to city area when Rasheed Butt and Usman Butt opened fired at him and wounded him over a petty issue.
FAKE CHEQUE CASE: Three people were booked on charges of issuing a fake cheque.
The Circle police was told that Abdul Jabbar, Zahid and Mushtaq gave Rs 6,100,000 loan to Tufail, Akram and Iqbal. When they demanded the amount back, a cheque was handed over to them which was bounced by bank.
