FAISALABAD: Armed forces of Pakistan are ready to thwart any aggression and are fully prepared to achieve the regional strategic objectives of Pakistan.
It was said by Brigadier Jehangir Akram Cheema, Commander Seven Armoured Brigade, while addressing a Defence Day function at the Faisalabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry here on Tuesday. He said that it was very encouraging that the government, the army and the people were on the same page regarding national defence and economic stability. He said that the army prepared a new strategy to crush terrorism after the tragedies of the Army Public School (APS) Peshawar and Safora incident in which many innocent children and others were killed. Brig Jehangir Akram Cheema said that the operation Zarb-e-Azb and Karachi operation would bring much needed peace in the country. He said that the Pak-China Economic Corridor was very important to gain the regional strategic objectives. FCCI president Rizwan Ashraf paid tribute to the armed forces of Pakistan and said that we all were ready to stand with the armed forces in case of any aggression by the Indian forces. Earlier, Brigadier Jehangir Cheema unfurled the national flag at the FCCI Complex.
