HAFIZABAD: A local court on Monday released the owner of a bear on bail whose bear performed during the PTI public meeting on September 5 and issued show-cause notices to three officers of the Wildlife Department.
Shaukat Ali Qalandar, owner of the bear, was presented in the court of Civl Judge Waseem Anjum. The court released Shaukat on bail after receiving Rs 30,000 surety bond. The court, on an application moved by Shaukat, issued show-cause notices to three officers of the Wildlife Department, including District Incharge Hanfia Yousaf, for keeping him in the lockup illegally.
