Drug-peddling bid foiled in Kohat

KOHAT: The police foiled a drug-peddling bid and arrested an accused here on Monday, sources said. The sources said that acting on a tip-off, the police barricaded a link road near Al Shifa Eye Hospital and pulled over a pickup truck (PRB-1469) heading to Peshawar from Khyber Agency. On thorough search, the police recovered 24 kilogram hashish from its secret cavities and arrested the driver identified as Arif Khan.
