Security of RPO office, Police Lines in DG Khan beefed up

DERA GHAZI KHAN: After the reported terror threats, security of the regional police office, the Police Lines and other offices have been beefed up. Police officials said that policemen had been deployed at Kutchery Chowk while bunkers had also been set up in front of the regional police office and the commissioner office. They said that western side of the road had been closed for traffic. They said that an educational institution on the road was being guarded to avoid any untoward situation. After the police encounter in Muzaffargarh, security of the Central Jail and other sensitive locations had also been tightened, they added. They said that security of the RPO and DPO houses had been further beefed up. They said that the number of policemen escorting the convoys of the RPO and DPO had been increased.
