PHF grieved by demise of Olympian Shahrukh
KARACHI: The management and staff of the Pakistan Hockey Federation (PHF) expressed deep sorrow over the death of former Olympian Shahzada Syed Shahrukh. In a message, the PHF president Brig (retd) Khalid Khokhar and secretary Shahbaz Ahmad Senior said that Shahrukh’s demise was a great loss to the hockey fraternity.

In a message, the PHF president Brig (retd) Khalid Khokhar and secretary Shahbaz Ahmad Senior said that Shahrukh’s demise was a great loss to the hockey fraternity.
They said that Shahrukh was one of the pioneers of the game in Pakistan. He was Pakistan’s vice-captain in the 1948 Olympics.
