LAHORE :The Lahore High Court on Friday sought reply from the Punjab government on a petition seeking directions to fix responsibility and take action against the persons behind leaking a letter about provision of security to Chief Justice of Pakistan Justice Gulzar Ahmed.
LHC Chief Justice Mamoon Rashid Sheikh was hearing a petition moved by advocate Azhar Siddique, pleading that CJP never demanded security but the Punjab government on its own issued a notification pertaining to provision of security to CJP.
