Four killed in Gujar Khan accident
Rawalpindi:Four people were killed when an over-speeding car hit a parked truck along GT Road near Gujar Khan here on Friday.
Three of deceased were brothers while the fourth one was their friend and all of them died at the spot. Four people named Malik Arshad 25, Malik Azhar, 21, Malik Hassan Mehmood, 23, and Saqib Amjad, 35 died at the spot. According to police, the speed of the car was over 130-KM per hour when it hit the parked truck on GT Road. The car was wrecked completely in the collision. The back side of truck was also wrecked.
The eye witnesses said that car was coming fast and suddenly hit a parked truck. We shocked to hear the grumbling sound of accident on the occasion. We ran towards accident place but in vain because all people were already expired, eyewitnesses said.
Rescue teams arrived immediately at the site of the accident and shifted all dead bodies to Tehsil Headquarters Hospital (THQ) Gujar Khan. The Rescue 1122 spokesman Farooq Butt told ‘The News’ that all four people were already expired before they could reach the spot.
