KARACHI: Tuba Sports, Korangi Al-Fateh, and Fazal-ur-Rehman Sports registered victories in All-Karachi Prof Ejaz Ahmed Farooqi Invitation Cricket Tournament here at various grounds.

Tuba Sports beat Al-Karam Sports by 9 wickets at Eastern Star ground. Al-Karam Sports scored 226 for the loss of 9 wickets in 45 overs. Babat Khan scored 72 with 9 boundaries and one six. Syed Kamran Rizvi scored 43 with 3 boundaries. Sheikh Waleed (42) and SM Asif Hussain (37) were the other main contributors. Mohammad Kashif took 3 wickets for 51, and Nasir Mehmood grabbed 2 for 42.

Tuba Sports reached the target for the loss of only one wicket in 42 overs. Afsar Nawaz scored 109 not out with 15 boundaries. Awais Ahmed scored 93 not out with 14 boundaries. They added 210 runs for the second wicket.

Korangi Al-Fateh beat Azeempura Gymkhana by 9 wickets at Landhi Gymkhana ground. Azeempura Gymkhana were all out for 84 in 32.4 overs. Tanveer Hussain (32) was their leading scorer. Osama Basharat grabbed three wickets for 16. Jam Saifullah took 3 for 21.

Korangi Al-Fateh reached the target for the loss of one wicket in just 6.4 overs. Mohammad Waqas scored 39, hitting 4 boundaries and 3 towering sixes. Mohtashim Ali scored 35 not out with 5 boundaries and one six.

Fazal-ur-Rehman Sports beat Joharabad Cricket Club by 94 runs at TMC ground. Fazal-ur-Rehman Sports were all out for 197 in 44.5 overs. Bilal Yaseen scored 91 with 8 boundaries and 2 sixes. Ali Hasan (40) was the other main scorer. Abdur Rehman took 3 for 38, while Zain-ul-Abideen got 2 for 32.

Joharabad CC were all out for 124 in 28.1 overs. Zain-ul-Abideen (30) and Abdul Hadi (28) were the main scorers. Off-spinner Azam Khan took 7 wickets for 26. Owais Ali grabbed 2 for 29.
