KASUR: Mandi Usmanwala police Friday seized 80 kg unhygienic meat and arrested a butcher in the Mandi Usmanwala locality.
On a tip-off, the police and livestock officials raided the shop of Shafique and seized substandard meat and arrested him. His accomplice Ashiq managed to escape the arrest.
DIES IN ACCIDENT: A man was killed in a collision between two motorcycles at Rai Khurd Kalan locality.
Motorcycles of Nasir Ali and Muhammad Sarfraz collided near Rai Khurd Kalan locality, leaving Ali dead on the spot and Sarfraz wounded.
