Asif scoops snooker title in style

ISLAMABAD: Punjab’s Muhammad Asif Toba brushed aside Shadab Baig from Sindh 5-1 to win the 4th Masters Snooker Championship at the Pakistan Sports Complex here Tuesday.
Former national champion Toba, who completely dominated the final, won 70-18, 72-19, 59-57, 57-48, 22-67, 53-39 to wrest the title.
Barring one frame where he missed a pot, Toba was in fine tune winning first four frames in style.
Pakistan Sports Board Deputy Director General Mansoor Ahmed Khan was the guest of honour and distributed prizes among the winner and runner-up. Mohammad Azam Dar (DDG Technical) was also present on the occasion.
