Police check-post attacked in DI Khan

DERA ISMAIL KHAN: Terrorists attacked the Khatti police checkpost with rockets and hand-grenades on Zhob Road in the limit of Dera Town Police Station early Monday, police sources said.
The attack caused partial damage to the post. However, no loss of life was reported. The sources said that the terrorists riding motorbikes hurled hand-grenades and fired rockets at the Khatti checkpost situated some 20 kilometers off Dera Ismail Khan.
They said the miscreants fled the scene. The cops manning the checkpost retaliated. The checkpost sustained partial damage in the attack, however, the cops remained unhurt. The police and the security forces launched a joint search operation after the incident. However, no arrests were made.
