Aqeel clinches Serena Hotels tennis singles title

KARAHCI: Aqeel Khan clinched the title of men’s singles at the Serena Hotels National Ranking Tennis Championships that concluded here in Islamabad on Sunday.
Aqeel defeated Muzammil Murtaza 6-3, 7-6(4) in the final.
In the final of boys’ ujnder-18 singles, M Shoaib beat Zalan Khan 6-3, 6-2.
In under-14 singles final, Bilal Asim overpowered Ahmed Nail 6-4, 7-6(4).
In the final of under-14 doubles, the pair of Huzaifa Khan and Hamid Israr thrashed the duo of Haider Ali and Hussnain Ali 4-1, 4-1.
In the final of boys and girls under-12 singles, Hussnain Ali won against Hamza Roman 2-4, 4-2, 4-3.
In the final of boys and girls under-10 singles, Hamza Ali overpowered Haniya Minhas 5-4(2), 4-2.
