BAHAWALPUR: PTI vice-chairman Shah Mehmood Qureshi on Thursday again urged the election commission (EC) members to resign for the sake of the country.
Addressing the party’s district Bahawalnagar workers convention in Chishtian regarding the preparation of the local bodies’ polls, Qureshi asked the workers that it would be mandatory for all local bodies’ polls candidates of the PTI to come to Islamabad on Oct 4 to join the protest against the EC members.
Qureshi said for the first time in the country’s history the LB polls are being held on party basis which is also a new experience for the PTI. He said results would be fruitful for the PTI in Punjab like KP.
After the convention, Qureshi chaired the PTI district Bahawalnagar meeting at office of Malik Muzaffar Awan, PTI district president (Bahawalnagar chapter).
